Dr. Bradley Lusk is born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As a young child, he attended Desert Winds Elementary school- then a Title 1 public school made entirely from portable buildings. His classrooms often had no air conditioning during the hot Arizona summers and no heating during the cool Arizona winters. Due to the poor conditions of the particle board that was used to construct the classrooms of his school, feral cats often lived in the walls. After grade school, he attended Deer Valley Middle School and Barry Goldwater High School as a member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. During high school, he played football during his freshman year and ultimately joined track and cross country where he developed a knack for running that he continues to this day. In his last years of high school, he traveled to Australia and New Zealand via the People to People exchange program, and studied at Cambridge University through the Cambridge College Program.

After graduating high school, he joined Arizona State University as an undecided major. Here, he joined a nonprofit educational outreach program called Camp Sparky which solidified his passion to operate as a science educator. During his Sophomore year, he studied the philosophy of religion and New Zealand and gothic literature at the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand. Upon returning to the USA, he enrolled as a biology major and graduated with a BS in Biology and a certificate in the Philosophy of Science in 2009.
In 2009, he enrolled in the Biological Design graduate program. At the same time, he started his first business selling vintage collectibles and audio equipment and invested in real estate to pay his way through college. He graduated with a PhD in Biological Design in 2015 and has published in several peer reviewed journals including: Journal of the American Chemical Society, Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences, Environmental Science & Technology, Microbial Biotechnology,  Bioelectrochemistry, Journal of Responsible Innovation, TechConnect Briefs, Genome Announcements, Journal of Cave and Karst Science, and Frontiers in Microbiology.

He is the founder and CEO of Science The Earth, the co-founder and board member of Precient Technologies, LLC, the co-founder of Climate Classes, has served as adjunct professor at South Mountain Community College in the School of Math, Science, & Engineering, has served as instructional professional at Arizona State University in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, researched as a fellow of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine at the Naval Research Laboratory, acted as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science where he served as a co-founder and co-chair of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Team, the program manager for Climatelinks.org, and an environmental specialist at the United States Agency for International Development, developed a strategic roadmap for water access in Togo in the face of changing climate as an Embassy Science Fellow with the US Department of State, and is a former Senior Technology Consultant for Isle Inc.
